Sofirn SP36 Pro 8000-Lumen Rechargeable LED Flashlight
The Sofirn SP36 Pro is a formidable lighting tool that brings massive output to a handheld form factor. I tested this unit across several night hikes and backyard projects to see if its 8000-lumen promise holds up in real-world conditions.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality is immediately apparent, featuring a robust chassis that feels dense and ready for rugged use. Its use of four SST40 LEDs creates a well-balanced beam profile that throws light across great distances while maintaining a useful spill for close-up tasks.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using the SP36 Pro is remarkably intuitive, with the USB-C charging port making it easy to keep the 18650 batteries topped off without needing an external charger. While it is certainly more powerful than your standard flashlight, the learning curve is minimal for anyone familiar with modern high-performance torches.
This is an excellent choice for serious campers, search-and-rescue hobbyists, or homeowners who want professional-grade lighting on standby.
Final Thoughts
The Sofirn SP36 Pro earns its 4.95 rating by successfully balancing raw, blinding power with a user-friendly design. For $99.00, it is a reliable companion that will likely remain a staple in your outdoor gear kit for years to come.
